Associate Director at Assael
Adam joined Assael in 2009 as an Architectural Assistant, and became a fully qualified Architect the following year. He was promoted to Senior Architect in 2014, and, following his progression in the company, Associate Director in 2016.
Before joining the team, Adam worked in a north London architecture practice working on a range of high-end UK and international residential projects. Adam also has two years of experience in two other major practices in Oxford and Manchester, working in both the public and private sectors.
Adam has a Masters in the specialised field of landscape-led regeneration in the UK, and has a particular interest in social and urban redevelopment of communities.
Adam’s expertise lies in the delivery of large-scale residential and mixed-use schemes on complex urban sites. From conception through to completion he has experience in working with some of the largest developers and house builders in the UK.
Since working for Assael, Adam has been heavily involved in the implementation stages of the £140 million Barratt London’s Renaissance project, an 800 apartment residential scheme in Lewisham, south east London.
More recently, Adam led the design and construction of an 83 apartment residential building in Brentford. The building incorporates a ten-storey glazed atrium with landscaped decks and green wall, plus an ETFE canopy, and was the final phase of Assael’s Great West Quarter masterplan.
Adam is now leading the implementation of our mixed-use scheme in Chiswick which combines the refurbishment of an old office block with three new, contemporary buildings. He is also working on the design development of Lewisham Retail Park into a scheme which sits adjacent to Renaissance in Lewisham and forms part of the strategic masterplan of the area.
